The purpose of the policy and procedures is to communicate to employees the desired outcomes of the organisation. It defines the goals for the occupational health and safety work in the workplace and for activities that also promote the working capacity of the staff. It also helps employees understand their roles and responsibilities within the organisation. The Chaupati Safety & Health Policy ultimately lays the foundation for the delivery of safe and cost effective value creation and ensures that its key objectives are met:
